Chairman and Founder

Al Lalji oversees SmarTek21’s global growth strategy and initiatives. As founder, he sets the vision for SmarTek21’s products and services. Al has more than 20 years of experience in technology management and consulting to Fortune 500, serving leading roles in a variety of business, functional, and technical teams. He has excelled in Senior Management Enterprise roles including Microsoft®, T-Mobile®, Cingular®, McKesson, Toys“R”Us®, Equifax® and Starbucks®. Al has lived in Africa, London, and Los Angeles, CA and enjoys his residence in Kirkland, WA. He holds a Master’s degree in information systems and a Bachelor’s degree in business, both from Pepperdine University.

Al leads from the front, managing the company’s growth and expansion objectives with delivering excellence in all our customer and user experiences.

David Gorsuch


David Gorsuch oversees all of SmarTek21’s Sales and Marketing activities with focus on expanding our portfolio of Service Solutions. He brings over 20 years of technology industry experience leading, building, and preparing teams and clients for accelerated growth and business transformation. He has held a variety of executive, sales, and operations roles. Most recently, David served as Vice President of Customer Success at InsideView, a software and data management company serving the Fortune 1000. Previously, David was the Chief Operating Officer for Compushare (acquired by D+H), a leading FinTech provider of innovative products tailored to the Financial Services industry. He also served as the CEO and COO of InfoPartners (acquired by Compushare), the premier IT services provider for Venture Capital, Private Equity and Hedge Funds in the Bay Area. Prior to InfoPartners, David led the East Coast Sales team at All Covered (acquired by Konica Minolta), a national IT and cloud services firm. He earned a BA of Economics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. He is married and has 4 children and enjoys his home life in Half Moon Bay, CA.

Ross Sherman

Managing Director

Ross Sherman oversees SmarTek21’s day-to-day consulting service operations. He also directly manages medium to large Enterprise principal accounts. He brings 10+ years of Information Technology leadership experience, with a deep focus on Innovation. Prior to SmarTek21, Ross served as an IT Executive for a $1BN publicly traded diversified services firm out of Phoenix, Arizona. He also consulted with Apple in Nevada and Arizona, and was CEO of a managed cloud computing company based in Minnesota. He holds an undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and an Executive Education from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Ross has roots globally, living and working across North America and Europe. When he’s not working, he can be found with his English Bulldog in Bellevue, Washington.

Scott Pfeiffer

VP Finance and Operations

Scott Pfeiffer protects and manages the financial well-being for SmarTek21. As a licensed CPA with over 25 years experience, Scott brings a unique blend of expertise combining Software, Consulting, and Financial activity. Scott joined SmarTek21 with prior experience serving as a CFO for companies in industries such as Software as well as an International Distribution with offices in the U.S., Germany, China & Philippines. Scott graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. He is an avid sports fan and plays softball on several teams along with spending time with his family.
