Job responsibilities

 

• Software design and development in SharePoint environments. In-depth knowledge of the object model
• Deployment of SharePoint solutions in production environments.
• Manage SharePoint Servers and databases.
• Provide support for backup and disaster recovery.
• Build Intranet portals and collaboration solutions
• Support website development to modify the look and feel
• Applying advanced analysis skills and experience in principals of software design and deployment
• Assisting project management through the entire project lifecycle
• Managing multi-phase/multi-dimensional/multi-resource projects to conclusion while maintaining high customer satisfaction
• Assist end-user community with SharePoint site customization, Scripting and web page creation
• Work with end-users to gather requirements for various projects

Required Skill

 

• A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or equivalent work experience
• 3+ years of experience working with the SharePoint platform
• At least 4 years of experience in the design, development, and successful execution of small to medium scale Web projects 
• Demonstrated experience in SharePoint 2007/MOSS (both application and infrastructure components).
• Demonstrated experience in Microsoft .NET technologies such as ASP.net, C#, SQL Server 2005/2008, XML, and Web Services.
• Proficiency with SharePoint 2007/WSS and MOSS technologies including custom Web part development, business data catalog development, custom field types, event development, site definitions and features.
• Working knowledge of SharePoint 2007 installation, configuration and maintenance.
• Experience developing applications for MOSS 2007 including custom workflows, SharePoint Designer, and InfoPath Forms.
• Thorough understanding of the inter-relationships among content types, shared columns, search, navigation, information management policies, governance and other data-related facets of an enterprise SharePoint implementation.
• Excellent analytic and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex problems and propose practical solutions.
• Ability to lead users through discovery and fully define to end users the data that is available, assisting them in targeting what and how they need to visualize that data.
• Experience working with Microsoft Reporting Services (SSRS) in a SharePoint environment a plus.
• User interface design and development skills using ASP.NET and Ajax are highly desired.
